Crossroads sign with two arrows, office building – inhouse, outsource

Global supply chains are highly efficient but fragile.

Determining the optimal mix of cost, quality and availability is one of the most strategically important decisions a company can make, especially in a world with new challenges.

How does one minimize risk within the supply chain?

Which competencies is it better for a company to keep under its own responsibility ?

Which activities can be sensibly left to a partner?

This applies to both procurement (upstream) and distribution (downstream).

These questions are currently being discussed in many companies. We would like to involve ourselves and you in this exciting discussion with an online event of the CSCMP RoundTable Germany.

The focus of the presentations and discussions will be on both the strategic preliminary considerations and the implementation of vertical integration in the company.

A mix of contributions from practice and science, i.e. from teaching and experience, awaits you and forms the basis for your questions, suggestions, comments and a lively and active discussion.

We remain true to the networking character of the CSCMP Roundtable Germany and have transformed it into the new, virtual format. So be curious about the moderated and lively session on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

After the official part, we will further exchange ideas among ourselves and with the speakers in small groups during a virtual happy hour. A drink next to the screen is welcome to liven up the round.

We look forward to a lively event.
