CSCMP goes IBM Pop-up Cologne Roadshow 2022
Technology evolutions have been a key driver for supply chain disruptions over many years. From the first sea container in 1959, the first barcode in 1974, first RFID chips in 1983, first cobots in 2008, big data and blockchain in 2014, self driving trucks in 2018 and Quantum computing in 2020.
Our event on October 20th will have a look in various more recent technology trends and its implications into supply chain in certainly one of the most uncertain and hard times to manage product flows. You can expect a mix of presentations and case studies and sharing of experience how to benefit from these new technologies, the good and the not so good experience being made. Our diverse set of speakers will share their perspectives in times of the new normal in particular for “supply chainers”.
The event will close with various demo sessions in the IBM Pop-up store including self driving ships, a virtual assistant on the International Space Station, a self parking experience and a Quantum computer.
We will meet as a group for networking and dinner and some Kölsch beers.
After 2 years of virtual events with the CSCMP in Germany we are thankful for the opportunity to leverage the IBM Pop-up construction in Cologne for our CSCMP Networking event.
